Over the next decade, Forrest Park aims to provide 1.7 million sq. ft. of industrial space and create over 3,000 jobs, significantly boosting County Durham’s economy by nearly £500 million.
The park is already attracting major occupiers such as Amazon, Hitachi, Lidl Distribution, Nissan, Argos and DPD. The bespoke design and build development scheme offers units of up to 1 million sq. ft. for distributors and manufacturers, with the first unit of Phase 1 commencing construction in 2025.
Adjacent to J59 and the A1, Forrest Park is strategically positioned and conveniently located next to the Northern Line railway, with potential for a rail-connected building.
